Every rider knows the importance of wearing protective equipment such as helmets and leather jackets but not too many even give a thought about motorcycle goggles. Saving countless lives by preventing what could be devastating accidents, the right goggles can make all the difference in the world.

If you think about it, wearing protective eye wear just makes sense. How many times have you been blinded by a speck of dust just while walking around on the street. It is enough to blind you for several seconds. Now, imagine that dust hitting your eye as you go 70 miles per hour down a highway. If you have to stop walking when this happens you will surely be impeded on your bike and the result can be deadly.

Goggles help to prevent such instances from occurring but they do so much more. The lenses for these goggles are no longer made from glass but shatterproof material making them far more resilient and resistant. Along with this the lenses come in an array of colors that suit different riding and light conditions. Pale yellow is great for driving during the morning or evening hours when the light is low. If it is a really sunny day you may want to break out the mirror lens to cut down on glare. Gold lenses are pretty versatile and great for many conditions. It never hurts to have a few goggles on hand of varying colored lenses that will suit most conditions.

We would each take two teams and if one of those teams won the Stanley Cup, the other person would pay 20 bucks. A friendly little bet.
Being the youngest of us, I let him take first pick. He picked the team that won the regular season standings, the Washington Capitals and the Chicago Black Hawks. I picked the Ottawa Senators and the San Jose Sharks. There are only 2 teams left. The Chicago Black Hawks and the San Jose Sharks are the only ones left and it looks like they may meet in the next round..

In the past few years many people have discussed the prehistoric diet and forms of exercise, they state that our bodies have not changed in all that time . So in order to stay fit we should mimic the regime of our ancestors 10,000 years ago. This was a time before man had domesticated animals, wheat, rice or any of our stable crops.Cave men would dine on the dead and decaying remains of animals, gather wild plants, fruit, berries and nuts, or hunt for small animals and birds.

So our ancestors would wonder around looking for food, on the coast maybe fishing or collecting shell fish. So an active life, low energy activities interspersed with occasional bursts of high energy activities. These activates would be things such as chasing after animals in a hunt, fighting between males or rival tribes or even running away from the many predators such as lions, tigers and bears

From an exercise and diet point of view this means we are best suited to low energy activities interspersed with short bursts of high energy actions. We should eat only the carbohydrates found in nuts, berries fruit and other basic food stuffs. We should avoid foods based on cultivated cereal crops such as wheat.

So how would the normal cyclist use this information to improve their personal fitness regime. First of all no electric or motor bikes, you have to put the effort in yourself! Being out and about on your bicycle is fun, very low pollution good for your fitness and you can even use them for getting to work or your local shops. So to achieve the body you want you should use your cycle as much as you can, don’t drive to the shops get on your womens bike. When you are cycling use a slower speed for most of the time but occasionally sprint for about three minuets. Slow down for a period until your heart rate slows down again then repeat the process several times. Be sure you have space for the burst, traffic free cycle paths are really good for this. Research has shown that following this kind of exercise schedule will lead to a dramatic improvement in heart and lung function and a reduction in body fat.

There are many great camping locations in Oregon. From coastal camping to camping in central Oregon, there are beautiful campgrounds and state parks scattered across the state. Whether you’re planning a weekend waterskiing on Diamond Lake, hiking the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, or just soaking up the sun and enjoying the waves at one of Oregon’s beautiful beaches, there are plenty of camping opportunities for tents and RVs in Oregon.

Along Oregon’s northern coast, camping is abundant at a variety of state parks, national parks, and private campgrounds. Enjoy horseback riding, kayaking, or fishing while camping among the beautiful wildlife of Nehalem Bay State Park. Primitive camping for small aircraft is available near an airstrip, as well as sites for hikers, bicyclists, and horse camping. This Oregon camping facility also features 265 electrical sites that accommodate RVs up to 60 feet long and 18 yurts, small, furnished, circular huts that sleep 5 people.

If you’re thinking of combining a weekend of Oregon coast camping with some off road fun on the beach, Sandbeach Campground is the ideal location. Pack up your ATVs and your favorite Coleman family camping tent and get your campsite early because these are on a first come, first serve basis. Choose from one of the three developed campgrounds and camp on the beach if you like.

The central Oregon coast offers plenty of camping activities as well. Two hour kayaking tours along Beaver Creek make South Beach State Park a popular Oregon coast camping destination. From fishing, windsurfing, or just enjoying the beauty of the Pacific coast, camping at South Beach State Park is a great getaway. Camp in one of the 27 yurts or enjoy an electrical campsite with wi-fi access.

Bullards Beach State Park, along the southern Oregon coast, is a terrific family camping destination. Visit the Coquille Lighthouse, hike or bike through the beautiful coastal dunes full of wildlife, or enjoy a day of boating on the peaceful Coquille River. There are plenty of family activities nearby and you can choose from one of the shaded campsites with full hookups, a comfortable yurt, or even a horse camping site with beach access.

Camping in central Oregon isn’t quite as abundant as the coast, but it is just as much fun. The Deschutes River State Recreation Area is a favorite campground for kayakers, hikers, and equestrians. The 34 electric campsites, 25 primitive sites, and restrooms are perfect for a weekend of horseback riding or enjoying the rapids of the scenic Deschutes River, whether in a kayak, inner tube, or jet ski.

The only state park in the Portland area that offers camping, Milo McIver State Park, is a beautiful outdoor retreat that provides plenty of fun for the entire family. The Milo McIver campground is small and secluded with 9 designated tent camping sites and 44 electric sites and there is a wide array of programs and exhibits available through the park. Visitors can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, or playing disc golf. The scenic Clackamas River is perfect for canoeing and rafting, and there are several picnic areas with gorgeous views.
From Oregon’s most scenic waterways to the tranquil Oregon coast, camping in Oregon is always fun for everyone. Relax by the shore, hike a scenic trail, or kayak Oregon’s whitewater. Whatever your favorite camping activities, Oregon’s state parks have something for you!

Rated 102 on that and second twice in lesser grade before disappointing in sales race then winning modest Bath maiden in September when rated 90. Cost of 26,000gns and yet to race for present yard.

“Looked regressive last year and was lame at the sales which is why he was cheap. We’ve done a few things including cutting him, and put him in the garage for a while. He’s a horse racing tip now and I nearly entered him for the end of April but now we’re getting close to a run I think there were times last year when he looked less than genuine. So, despite his speed, he might just prefer seven and sit on him a bit longer.”

Water hazards probably account for more penalty strokes than anything else in golf. But water hazards—as dealt with under Rule 26—often lead to controversy when interpreting the rule. So I’m careful to review the topic in my golf lessons and discuss it in my golf tips.

The controversy stems from interpreting where the ball last crossed the water’s edge. Since the decision affects where you take a drop, Atlanta golf courses it makes sense to have a good understanding of the rule, especially if a match is on the line or your working on a personal best.

The Rules
Golf’s rules define a water hazard as “any sea, lake, pond, river, ditch, surface draining ditch, or other open water course (whether or not containing water), and anything of a similar nature.” Courses mark water hazards with yellow stakes and lines. But the rules don’t stop there, as I mention in my golf tips and during my golf lessons; they also discuss a lateral water hazard.

The rules define a “later water hazard” as part of a water hazard “so situated that it is not possible

Kim Bailey has led something of a nomadic existence in the last 20 years moving from East Ilsley, to Lambourn the on to Norton Canes in Northampton and finally to Andoversford in Gloucestershire.

It is at the latter base from which Bailey is regrouping after a fantastic spell in the mid-nineties when landing the Cheltenham Gold Cup – Champion Hurdle double with Master Oats and Alderbrook. At the beginning of that decade he also won the Grand National with Mr Frisk.

The quest to find such horses is never easy but Bailey continues to rebuild his horse racing stable strength and as we enter this most significant stage of the season he has a team full of young horses that have shown marked potential.

The Lindy Hop is said to be the grandfather of modern swing. This dance is a popular routine back in the 1920s, along the time when jazz music is the latest craze. Being a member of the Swing family, we can safely say that Lindy Hop originated as one of the branches of African American dance culture.

History

The history of Lindy Hop can be broken down into three stages — the peak of the Swing era from 1920 to 1940, its evolution in 1950, and its revival in the 1980s.

This dance routine is said to originate from the black community in Harlem, New Work back in the 1920s. In-depth study of this style has broken down its routines into a combination of Charleston, breakaway, hop, and Texas Tommy. Around the 1930’s, Lindy Hop is at the peak of its popularity.

This dance routine is quite popular in the many bars and dancing studios in various cities in the United States. However, it later stagnated when dancing was strongly disapproved due to the heavy tax sanction against bars and dancing halls.

Lindy Hop Today

Today, Lindy Hop is one of the few social dances performed in local regions. It did not reach the stage like other dances that evolved and accepted in various circles in modern society. This dance routine is performed mostly in private and public social events, dance competitions, and other dance performances. The maneuver can be done solo or with a partner.

Techniques

Considering that Lindy Hop is part of the Swing family, many of its moves can be found in other dance styles popular today. This dance routine is defined as an athletic partner dance. As opposed to universal norm in partner dance where partners are supposed to stay upright and mostly connect through their hands, the Lindy Hop starts off with an athletic stance with emphasis on lower body movement or footwork.

Lindy Hop has 2 actual styles, though performers may integrate their own unique moves to give it a more unique style — these are the Savory and G.I. style.

The Savory-styled Lindy Hop places an emphasis on upper body movement — usually involving horizontal sways and jerks that define it as an active version of the dance routine. The second, the G.I. Lindy Hop, places its emphasis on upright body position with active lower body movement.

Footwork of this dance routine borrows some of the more commonplace techniques found in Charleston and Tap dancing. The steps use 6 and 8 counts for the rhythm and put an emphasis on the leader and weight changes during the routine. The music of the Lindy Hop is lively. Since this is an active dance where solo and partnered performers may integrate active movements to their routine, many of these dances are usually performed with an accompaniment of Jazz or hip-hop music in the background.
