Dazed Bird

In the spring, the birds eat fermented berries, get drunk, and then fly around. The front of our house has these giant windows that reflect the sky, and the birds run into ‘em with loud THUNKs. Some of them run into the windows hard enough to be killed. Others, like this little guy here, are just dazed, and sit there for a while until they feel well enough to fly again. In the meantime, I go out and take video of them.

i remember when i …
i remember when i was about 13, and a bird hit our livingroom window.. i was the only one home……and feeling sorry for the bird i brought it into the house, cuz i thought it was dying or dead and i wanted to save it..well it came to inside the house and i had to chase the thing around to get it back out before my dad got home….lol

You should put …
You should put window stickers on your windows to keep them from running into them. I have had a similar problem, only it was woodpeckers and they would peck at the glass thinking it was another bird. They cracked at least 3 windows!
