yes, all martial arts should claim that, but taekwondo is designed to be about 60/40 kick/punch (I find it’s more 70/30 though) while most karate places say 50/50. Taekwondo focuses more on lenghth. At least my instructor does.

I’m red 3 (2 belts …
I’m red 3 (2 belts from black) And I know they each have their own strengths and weaknesses, Teakwondo has power and length, but karate has speed. In a taekwondo gets fast he can be really good same as with a karate person who has a lot of power.

Really no debating …
Really no debating KK part 3 is the worst of series (not counting the one with the girl in it). However, it’s really not that bad of a movie overall. It just seemed bad because part 1 and 2 were so good. Writing part 3 had to be hard considering all the story lines had pretty much been used up in the first 2. Now, when talking about the one with the girl in it, The Next Karate Kid I think it’s called, that really ruined the franchise for some people.

not exactly, in the karate kid II you learn that mr. myagi learned karate from his father who also trained his best friend sato who you see in one scene that he is wearing a red belt which means he is a 10th dan. myagi has to be the same rank being that he was training with his father long before sato showed up. idk, that would be my guess
